R&D Nester and Chinese Universities sign cooperation agreements in projects in the energy area
R&D Nester and the Universities of North China Electric Power University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China, have signed a cooperation agreement that will enable collaboration on joint research and development (R&D), the sharing of know-how, potential joint participation in national and international funding programs for R&D, participation in investor conferences and workshops organized by each party and the collaboration of technical articles to be disclosed by each party.
The North China Electric Power University was founded in 1958 and after 40 years of development presents a wide variety of training options distributed among its 15 schools and 25,000 students worldwide, and has invested in sharing in an academic level research projects in Science and development of new products.
The Shanghai Jiao Tong University, is another of the Chinese higher education institutions with a world renowned reputation. By the end of 2013, Shanghai Jiao Tong University had among other infrastructure 28 schools/departments, 5 research centers of national engineering, 3 national engineering laboratories, and 2 national centers for R&D.
The protocols signed with North China Electric Power University, in particular with the Institute of Power Systems and the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, reinforce the interest of R&D Nester to partner with prestigious national and worldwide educational institutions with whom R&D Nester wishes to have strengthened ties with the aim of developing scientific research and technological innovation in the energy sector.
